The Struggle
2007-08 was a great year for so many people… Said no one EVER! LOL. Like so many of you, those years will go down in history as years I never want to relive. I thought I was set for life. At a job I would be at until I retired, just adopted my first son, living in my dream home… Life was good. Until the economy took a dive and I lost, my “secure job” my “dream home” and found myself broke with no hope or vision of what my life could be like. To say I was struggling financially would be an understatement. At this point in my life, I dreamed of just living paycheck to paycheck. It was brutal. And if you have ever found yourself in a position like this you understand that you lose so much more than money and monetary things.
I started to lose myself. The girl that was driven, passionate, full of life and happiness was now… broken. It was then in my lowest times in my life that my dear friend came in and offered me a way out. He offered me Hope and Healing in my physical, emotional and financial areas of life.
This was the day I was introduced into the crazy and amazing world of Network Marketing. Yep, the place I never thought I would turn to. In fact, I had many people prior to this day, try and get to me to join them in their Network Marketing adventures, but I had absolutely NO interest in doing such a thing.
Funny how life can do that to us right? But, at this point in my life, any opportunity that could offer me hope and a way out seemed like a good idea. So, I started to embark on this crazy journey. And yes, I know what you’re thinking and yes, I absolutely started my journey in the industry for “my” financial gain. Now I know what you’re thinking but hear me out. After 2 months of focusing on my goals and my gain, my heart was softened and my reason for doing this changed.
The Shift
You see, I invited a few friends over to learn about the product and opportunity of the company I represent. A few days later, I received a text in the early morning hours from one of my friends explaining to me that she needed help. Her daughter needed one of the products I offered and needed it ASAP! I headed over there right away and explained to her what to do. As I left, I thought to myself, “ if this works it will be a miracle!” I thought of her and her daughter often that day, but I didn’t want to bother her.
The next day, to my surprise, she showed up to my house with her daughter and a bag of Life Savers. Attached to the bag of Life Savers was a card that read “Thank you for being my Life Saver.” We talked for a few minutes and she described the events of the previous day. After she left, I found myself staring at that note and that’s when it hit me. I was not here for my financial gain, but I was here to offer hope and healing to individuals and families with their physical, emotional and financial needs. And as I focus on them, my needs would be met in the process.
My Life... Transformed
At this point, there was no turning back. I was ALL IN! I focused on serving all those who I could and within 2.6 years I hit one of the top ranks in my company and completely transformed my life and the lives of so many others.
Now I want you to keep in mind the place I was in prior to this. Broke, no friends, isolated myself and I had 3 children under the age of 2. I had no previous experience in sales and no experience in the industry. I had no money to get started (in fact I had to wait for a tax return because I literally had nothing). I had just moved to a new city and I didn’t know anyone yet, let alone have a social media account or presence. I am telling you this because, listen close… if I can achieve the level of success in the short amount of time I did with all the excuses in the world not to succeed, then I know you can succeed! It’s not easy, and it will stretch you, but if you’re ready for it, your life can be transformed in a few short years. Interested now?

There are so many things that I have learned through this journey. The ups and downs are so real! But, I can honestly say one of the GREATEST days of my life, was the day a friend introduced me to Network Marketing. My life is forever changed because of this. I have become a better wife, mother, and person. I have learned to overcome fear, to dream again and to truly LIVE. I have found my purpose and passion in life, and I absolutely love to help others Create and Live their lives to the fullest!

My Mission
While I love the products and they have blessed my life in so many ways, there is more to my mission and purpose than sharing products.
As I was struggling with infertility and dealing with the financial struggles I wondered if I would ever be able to bring more children into my family. For those of you who know the “adoption world,” it's not cheap and I was so broke. I made a promise to God that if he would help get me out of this situation then I would do all that I could to help others in similar situations as me. And I am here to keep my end of that deal! I want to start a nonprofit that will financially help families looking to grow through the miracle of adoption.
Now I believe this to be true, that deep inside each one of us there is something you are passionate about and you want to be a part of something bigger than you. Think about the difference we could make in this world as we first help others out of their financial situations, then help them live on purpose? Think of the nonprofits that would be blessed and created if each of us lived fully? Think of the lives you would change? It sends chills down my spine.

As I started to truly understand the impact that collectively we could make, I realized I needed to grow my business even bigger!
I could truly make the impact I desire, create the nonprofit I want, as well as duplicating myself and having more time freedom.
